Artificial intelligence 30

Artificial intelligence will be the main challenge confronting humanity, with many technologies yet to be deployed. In addition, the challenges of integrating AI into a workforce of 2 billion people is estimated to be one of the most significant challenges facing the industrial world in the decades ahead.

The global impact of AI, both in the near future and in the years to come, is enormous. In 2050, the number of jobs affected will grow tenfold, with at least 75% of these workers going unrecognized. At the same time, the world could lose half of its gross domestic product.

The economic impact that AI will have on the global economy is a highly speculative question, requiring a thorough understanding of our current economic and technological strengths/weaknesses. Given the speed at which AI is improving our capabilities and our awareness of it, it is easy to conclude that it will have a rapid and global impact. However, AI remains much more complicated than most of us think and, although we are working hard to improve our understanding, many areas remain difficult.
