Basic Income 32

Reasons for Basic Income Guarantee:

1. Freedom

The world is becoming more crowded and more important. There is a risk that our world will become a more unpleasant and unpredictable place in which it is easier to be robbed or killed. We will need more freedom, but more freedom needs more security too. There cannot be a "living wage" or welfare system if criminals and thugs continue to get away free. We should be able to protect ourselves from criminals. By having an unconditional basic income, we can protect ourselves from both.

2. Freedom

A basic income does not require a huge bureaucracy or a long-term welfare state, but can start with a simple income guaranteed to every adult. This eliminates a large amount of the bureaucracy, and allows us to concentrate on creating a well funded and well organized economy.
